1. You will have prepared a short “Elevator pitch” that states who you are, and what you do and what your relevant background is. “hi, I’m Pauline, I’m a web content developer, I write about management skills, having spent many years working in business myself and managing teams”. You want to keep it short and to the point.
2. This question is a gift because it allows you to put all your preparation straight into the mix and demonstrate that you are a perfect match for the position. It is a great open question from the interviewer which allows you to put your own case without interruption. You can show that you match their requirements in every detail

In your interview preparation, you will have looked at the job advertisement and possibly even the job description. Most job adverts will list qualities they’re looking for – a team worker, a good communicator – so you will have prepared examples of how you can demonstrate these skills.
