Promotion but has been refused a salary increase
Thanks guys, I really like the knowledge and tips you send me. I need your help.
I am working with an organisation and the bosses note that I’m the right person for a position at head office. But when I asked them for a salary increment they said “we don’t want to talk about money”.
Since I took up the positions at head office, 3 people replaced me in my old position but each worked only 2 to 3 months and resigned.
Then the bosses terminated my contract at head office and asked me to go back to work in my old position.
So what can I do?

I think you need to help your managers sort this out and ideally arrange a salary increase for yourself in the process. At the very least they should be grateful to you if you help resolve their staffing issues.
So sit down and develop a plan. Is there someone within the business you could train to do your old job? What would you need to teach them? How long would it take? Once they in position and with you as their mentor could you pick up the head office job as run with both for a while?
What is this worth to your management team? Can you make any savings, improve performance?
Would your position at head office allow you to make demonstrable improvements to the bottom line, the profit figure?
Can you put a figure on it that would enable them to justify a salary increase for you?
