We get a lot of requests like this. It is a common misconception that we stock standard CVs that will be suitable for a cook, carpenter, teacher, and health and safety worker. People seem to think a CV can be produced from a couple of facts about them.

Even if it could be, it would not do them justice, nor would it represent them as people or enable the employer to understand the person or assess their suitability for a job.

We do not offer standard or sector specific CVs, as the point of a CV is that it is specific to the person, their skills and experience, and is tailored to the vacancy applied for. CVs are not something you can “take off the shelf “

The document needs to contain;-

• Your contact details
• Your educational achievements
• Your work history
• Your skills and competencies
• Your career objective
• Your career achievements, quantified

 

And it needs to demonstrate how you would fit into the role that is being advertised and can fill the job description, and that your background equips you to be a candidate worthy of consideration for the job.

So the country you live in, and your current job title, is not really sufficient information for me to write a personal tailored CV for you.

When we write a CV for a client, we ask them to fill in a detailed questionnaire about themselves, and then look carefully at all the information they have given us. We also study the vacancy or type of vacancies that they will be applying for.

A CV writer will then work on the CV, crafting a document that will present the client in the best possible light, and demonstrate they are a great fit for the job on offer. Then a second CV writer will review all the materials, proofread the document and suggest enhancements.

Then I personally review the work done and hone and polish the CV and other job search package components to perfection.

So it is not just a case of sending you a suitable CV. This is why we have to charge for the service. It is very labour intensive. We do not offer it as a free service as we get several hundred such requests a week and my team need money to live and pay their bills too !!
